Jake and I on the patio of a pub for a friend's welcome home get together.
Jake is so grown up in his new car seat, sporting his Hawaiian gear.
Jake's Grandma (my Mom) flew in town for a few days this past week. Although it was for only a few days, we crammed a lot of fun activities in. The two pictures below are from the San Diego Aquarium. Jake already misses her, but luckily she'll be out here again next month for Jake's birthday.
We took Jake to Gymboree for the first time before Grandma left. For those that haven't been, Gymboree is super overated and expensive (sorry if you're a member). Nevertheless, we had a great time during our free trail class. Jake's favorite was the tunnels. ...it's a good thing that Grandma bought him one for his birthday (but don't tell him).
Other than keeping up with Jake's whereabouts, not much else here to report. I had a few phone interviews this past week so hopefully that's a good sign. Until employment comes my way, I've had fun with small little decorating projects around the house. This week...paint the kitchen! :)
