Merry Christmas!! We hope you all had a terrific holiday! We couldn't have asked for a better Christmas this year. So far, we have had two Christmas/holiday gatherings and we still have one more to come next weekend. I love this time of year (not because of the presents, but because of all the family time). Now that Jake is getting older, the holidays are that much more special. Watching everything through his eyes is priceless.
Normally we visit my family in N. CA, but this year the family came to sunny San Diego. It was great! In all the years, this was my first time making a Christmas dinner...prime rib, Yorkshire pudding, soup, bundt cake, etc. Mmmm, mmmm.
There are many family members we didn't get to see this year because we stayed in San Diego. Please know that we missed you greatly!!
